Where can I see your work in print?
After over 20 years in business, my bonnets are spread across the globe! I have seen them online at Regency festivals, on stage in plays and ballets, book covers, and even the occasional museum visitors' center film. I love getting photos of my customers from around the world. Some of my more recent pieces have ended up in Harper's Bazaar (Feb, 2020), the film I Heard the Bells, and Hallmark's latest season of The Way Home.

Do you accept credit card payment?
Yes! I can accept payment from nearly anywhere in the world. Just fill your cart (being sure to add any details I might need about color and sizes), fill in your cc information and you are all set!

Do you ship outside of the United States?
Yes! I can ship anywhere the US Postal Service, FedEx or UPS delivers. Shipping costs outside the US are higher than in, but it can be done. Don't let postage stand in the way of the hat of your dreams!

How long will it take my order to ship?
I usually ship orders within two weeks of receiving payment. Large orders may take a bit longer, rush orders may be able to be accommodated (please contact me before placing your order!) I try to keep in contact with my customers while filling their order. You should receive an email confirmation once your order is placed and you will be notified via email at the time of shipping.

If you live in the US, once your order is shipped it will take from about 3-5 days to reach you. Canadian and UK orders shipped via air mail take about 7-10 days. Overseas orders vary by country and customs regulations. I am not responsible for delays or fees imposed by customs.

How do you ship your bonnets?
I work hard to keep my postage costs as low as possible for my customers. I normally ship my bonnets via Priority Mail if they are going to a US address. Canada and overseas are generally shipped via First Class Mail international. Accessory items, gifts and doll kits (under a pound) travel via parcel select. If you prefer a different carrier for some reason, please get in touch!

I need my order next week. Can you rush it?
I may be able accommodate a rushed order, though overseas shipping can at times be delayed by international customs. The best way to find out is to contact me before you place your order. Once I have confirmed that I can ship your items in time, you can check out, using the agreed upon shipping service.

Do you offer wholesale discounts?
At this time I am trying to keep my prices as low as possible, in spite of rising costs, so I am unable to offer additional wholesale discounts.

Are your creations suitable for children?
I have filled numerous orders designed for children's play wear. While my hats are sturdy, most are not designed to hold up to everyday kid-wear. Some children are gentle and would have no problem keeping their items in peak condition. For others, I have created special hats using sturdier materials. These have met with great success. If you have any questions, please contact me.

Are your hats period appropriate?
Many of my hat and bonnet styles are based on actual fashion plates. You should be able to see these plates in the item description. The majority of the bonnets are natural straw, sewn with cotton-like thread. Most of the time, ribbons, fabrics and flowers are stitched in place. If you need period appropriate finishings (silk and cotton, for example, rather than polyester satin) please get in touch. I have a wide assortment of trims available to choose from. My listed prices are for in stock ribbons and flowers, but I am happy to work with your budget to order the necessary finishing touches, if needed.

I have a hat in mind. Can you create it?
I can certainly give it a try! Please contact met and tell me about your ideas. If your hat is a unique creation, describe it to me. Better yet, send a photo or sketch. I will be able to tell you if I can make it for you or not. Many times, I can!

What is your Return Policy?
I am happy to work with you to perfect the hat of your dreams. Has your item arrived damaged? The good news is that our packages are insured! Please send me photos of the damage to submit with the claim. I can often ship a replacement within days if the item is unwearable.
