Reticules are relatively easy to
create and require only a small amount of fabric making them the perfect accessory to any outfit. They can be created from scraps of a gown you own or in complimentary colors with either a monochromatic or two tone scheme. This pattern includes cuttable pieces and instrucrions for three different bags.
Various reticule styles I have created using this template can be found on the
reticule page.1021 - Pattern for reticule $5 Free Shipping if download option is chosen. Please specify when ordering. |
This Butterick pattern makes a gorgeous Regency Ballgown in the style
favored by Empress Josephine of France. It features a simple satin gown with a
square décolleté
neckline and puffed sleeves topped by a trained Levite Gown* with a
standing lace Medici collar. The overdress clasps in the middle
under the empire waist with a jeweled pin. Create the dress in fine cotton, sans
trim for a Marianne Dashwood look. Click on the picture for a larger
