The two right still life paintings are still available for purchase.
Carolina
de Bruijn (Dordrecht, Holland, 1981) discovered her love for painting and
drawing at a very early age. As a child she made beautiful sketches and when her
parents discovered her talent, they send her to a local art school where she
studied art for several years.
At the age of 21, she started studying English at Leiden University where she discovered her love for English literature, especially her love for Romantic novels. It was then that she began making various illustrations for her own amusement of Jane Austen’s novels (which are her favourites) and other romantic novels.
Today, she
is the cartoonist of the “The Angler”, a magazine published by the English
faculty of Leiden, where she draws a monthly comic. She sells painting and
drawings to clients from all over Europe.

Carolina uses many techniques for her drawings and paintings, but prefers watercolours. She accepts commissions from clients who wish to purchase a special gift for friends or family, as well as drawing for her own amusement.
She makes illustrations of scenes from novels or any other illustration or painting a client wants. She is also adept at replicating fine art for the home. Special gifts can be commissioned such as custom designed note cards, framed pictures and drawings, painted bookmarkers, etc.
